Facts

First Minnesota Covid-19 case was identified by symptomatic infection of an elderly person in Ramsey County on February 25, 2020. It was not publicly announced until March 6 when testing of the person occurred making it the first positive test in the state.

On March 19-20th, 2020, the infection count broke 100 when it went from 89 to 115 overnight.

March 21, 2020, the first Minnesota death from Covid-19 was recorded in Ramsey County.

Antigen testing first began in September of 2020.
