Lyndale Park Peace Garden (near the Lake Harriet Rose Gardens in the Minneapolis Park System). Memorializes the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.

 

Monument to the Living, by Rodger Brodin, St. Paul, MN. Located on the south lawn of the state capitol. Inscription reads: “Why do you forget us?” Presented by and for the veterans of Minnesota dedicated May 22, 1982. Vietnam era soldier. (Photo by Twin Cities Almanac, November 2020).

 

World War II artillery outside a Minneapolis Armory in Northeast. Plaque reads: “This 25lb Gun Howitzer was dedicated to the soldiers of the 34th Infantry [Red Bull] Division by the British Government in recognition of being the first Americans to engage the German Army in combat.
