Fire at the closed Milwaukee Road depot started in a two-story office building attached to the depot occurred June 10, 1990 in downtown Minneapolis. The fuel in part was a stack of old mattresses which led to a gutting of the second floor and burned through the roof. This photo is looking north toward the actual depot. Another fire occurred there about two years earlier and at least two others in the year prior to this fire. (Photo by Twin Cities Almanac, 1990).
